Wood Village was created in 1989 and was, initially, the dedicated area for fans of the old style vessels, traditional production. It could have become a nice ghetto. In recent years it have shown that it was not.
Always renewed and faithful to its spirit, it is a reflection of contemporary wood. Wood attracts yachtsmen for its beauty and warmth. Architects appreciate its flexibility in implementation. And yards apply modern techniques that make it easier to live as polyester.
The Wood Village welcomes yards but also wood, industries, antique dealers and decorators. The popularity of the Wood Village is due to its friendly atmosphere, quality and variety of exhibitors. |
